Default well my crx/intro

hey guys, my name is Mike and well I am a member of vadriven.com, for about a year now, and i finally decided i would join yalls forums and see how things are here. I am about to turn 19 years old and I decided I wanted a CRX because my dad got in an accident with my accord and totalled it. i bought a 1989 Honda CRX Si with a JDM D15B motor, its pink with an ugly *** bodykit, but it works.

problems when i got the car:
-brakes(fixed needed pads and master cylinder)
-hood(didnt unlatch, took 10 minutes for me to fix)
-rear wiper(was loose and didnt work but i fixed that to)
-rear trailing arm bushings(oh god, not fixed yet still in process)
-front blades(replaced)
-running rich(not sure if it is o2 sensor, or just need to ground the engine better)
-no reverse lights(fixing today just need to soder the wires again)

anyway, i love this car almost as much as my gf lol kidding.

Welcome to H-T.

Read and research as much as you can, the knowledge on this site is endless... Make sure you search and search again before creating any new posts. Try not to say anything stupid and you should be fine.

Honda-tech can be a rough place... but don't let it faze you, take it with a grain of salt, and eventually you'll be hooked

Vadriven(drag) sucks when it comes to tech info. This is the place to be.

Thanks guys, i am from Newport News in VA, and yes you are right Drag va is horrible when it comes to tech talk lol. everytime i get on this site i learn something new so yeah hopefully ill be able to sink it all in. As far as my plans for this car, I am not looking for a 9 second car, but I always will be craving more out of it, I either want to swap with pretty much a B series motor, or just prep this one and build it for boost. I assure you guys that I will be posting all the time seeking advice, help, or to offer the little knowledge I know. Anyway thanks guys.
