need input on new color for my EG hatch, theres a link for my sig. rite now in rockin the flat black but it's time for a change. i have like 10 colors in dibating on

COLORZ:
-the color off a RSX, that like gray/tanish
-black
-champ white
-the gray that came on 95 DC
-a dark forest green
-a dark silver
-this DUPONT gray that cam on mustangs

No where will ever paint it right. Unless your paying for a baller paint job and I seriously doubt it.

I hate it when people paint the car a different color than orignal, especially with funky colors that even they cannot duplicate when they need repairs.

I'll bet you won't paint the engine bay, door jambs, trunk, the usual...........fuking ugly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bah hahaha...and yes, Mike is right. Unless you're going to go mad with painting the "ENTIRE" car (door jams, engine bay, and everything), then you're gonna have a blinging, freshly painted car of whatever color looks great, and then you're not gonna be happy with it, EVER, because you just wasted all your money to have an eg that is multicolored and a sight for sore eyes...

Paint it the original color and you'll be happy.

 

ok so i see a lil argument has broke out, now children play nice. this is a big boy forum. so you bitchy posts that make you seem like your on the 2nd day of being on the rag for your monthly bleed just aren't nessisary. so yes i've been debating a new color because when i bought this car the paint wasn't taken care of and then on the 3day day of owning it deer jump on the front of my car cousing all kinds of havick. so that left me with one bad hood one, good light set-up, one bad fender and one good mirror. so i bought GOOD CF parts, hood and i said expletive lets get the fender in it too. so i had theis new parts and a ruffly red/pink EG. not cool. soooo i me and a friend did a weekend job on it. we started wet sanding the car and sanding to the metel were it was needed for lil dings so i could put a light, let me say this agian so so ppl like MIKE dont get the wrong idea. i LIGHT layer on bondo to smooth out the dings. so the car was mint and smooth now. and i wanted to do the flat thing for a while. so we sprad it with flat black dupont PAINT. ok so now that we're up to date on this poor car, i'm over the flat stage and now i want a nice paint job. now since ALL the jams have ben wet sanded and painted before except the motor bay witch i hate, i want new. so now i haxe a buddy with a paint shop. so that meens FREE BOTH TIME! so now the car will be riped apart to within an inch of it's life motor included and for you picky expletive head LIKE MIKE, that includs the brake lines and brake boosted,ext. the molding will becoming of for a nice set of JDM once that will remain OE black. since we're doing all this work i want it to be a nice color that i can be happy with and if i sell it i will be happy knowing that i sold it with a NICE paint job that wont flake on some new owner. now i would like some more thoughts and ideas one what ppl think i should paint my EG. so if you could kindly post in this '92-00 Civic/Del Sol fourm i would apretionat it, thxs.

yea the pink was on the Rbumper,hatxg and R1/4s. the rest ws repainted at one time, but then that damb deer came into my life

who said cw look good on eg's is wrong.. They look hidieous. Look if ur thing is change the appearence on the car..Go with a color u like. If ur going to change the color? Why get another Honda color. Did u state what color is the hatch now?? My opinion is Lemans Sunset Orange from the 350Z. Any decent shop could color change ur car including engine bay for any where near 1,500 if the motor still in the car. remove it and with hardly no body work. u can get it done for about 1,000. And this is a quality paint job. not no one day (peel in a yr) paint & body

 

thats for the thoughts. in my eyes cw looks good to me but w/e. and that color from the 350, umm yea i'm gona have to pass on that. i'm not saying it's a bad color, it's just that ppl have been ricing there cars with that color for like 10 yrs now. come on even dodge rams have came i that color along with SRT's, eclipces, alot of car have can in that BURT ORANGE, it's just not my thing. ohhh and the reason for wanting to keep it a stock color is because i'm as well as alot of ppl are HONDA lovers anf we like to keep it real. real clean, so we do it up in true honda fashion with the OE honda colors. so thx for the input and keep um comin everyone

NH65M......its the gunmetal colot on the TL and RL's....anthercite metalic. Loks awsome
