Anyone a fan of Top Gear? Bad news inside...
(I feel I have to post this here since this is my home forum...)
The Hamster is down. Richard Hammond, one of the presenters on Top Gear, was driving a jet car for an episode of Top Gear, when something went wrong after the parachute deployed, and the car veered off the pavement, rolled a few times, and came to a stop upside-down. Hammond is now in stable condition (after being in critical..) but has serious brain injuries.
I think he also rides a Honda 1kRR if that makes this relevant at all.
Prayers for the Hamster.

He's a great guy. Much more my favorite than the tall fellow. Too bad. Hope he heals well and quickly. Glad to hear he's alive and doing better.
Brain scan showed no internal bleeding. Thank God.

as a matter of fact, i did NOT miss that part. nor did i miss the part about him surviving a crash from over 200mph. he is lucky to be alive at all. at this point, breathing on his own, talking, ambulating... those would be awesome.

The part that really sucks about this is that the doctors are only believing he can make a 'good' recovery, and not a full one... which sucks. But we can all hope he does. I would seriously miss him and the show if he was unable to go on with it after the accident. There's also a rumor of threat going around that they might cancel Top Gear, and this accident isn't going to help much.
Only seen that show once. It was ok. Travellin at 200mph, big up to him, i respect anyone with the ***** to do that. Hope he makes a full recovery

Hamster's walking, talking and eating, so that's awesome. The first article's about him and the fate of the show... Uh oh for the show. Now we have to pray for the show to stay on, on time and also on the air.

You're absolutely useless.
I've never seen you post anything worth reading.

The BBC being the Govt slag it is tried to kill the format but is under heavy fire from the population. The hamster is recovering and is now in a general ward, it is understood he was furious about the BBC's attitude.
Top Gear and the hamster will be back.
