i have a auto 89 hatch and the gauge cluster sucks since it has no tach can i swap it out for a 90 or 91 with the tach in it and also the mini diagram for the door and stuff when there open or close. its dumb but it doesnt hurt.

any 88-89 cluster civic/crx will work as long as it matches your clusters company..if your cluster is ns then you must get ns,,if its nd you must get nd....

88 and 89 only interchange the gauge cluster. I've tryed to put a 88-89 si gauge cluster in my 91 dx doesn't work... Plugs in but wiring is all sorts of messed up. So interchange only in the year next to it. 88-89. 90-91.

im not sure what it stands for exactly i know the n stands for nippon,,but the 2nd digit im not sure ,....But if you take out your cluster and look you'll see the stamp on it,,either NS or NT....heres a pic of my cluster to give you an idea ,stamp is in 2 spots
