I am still learning a lot about the EF sedans since I recently acquired one.

It would seem to me that the little metal sliver of sheet metal between the rear door and the rear wheel well seems to rust out on these cars.

What can I do to stop that area from rusting? I was going to use this sedan as my winter beater but like a true EF'er I have to fix her to perfection now

Winter is approaching fast and I need to get the door panels and that small section of metal fixed quick and cheap. I was thinking of cutting what little is left in that area and perhaps fiberglassing the darned thing.

Suggestions?
