Can some one explain what these mean exactly. Which one is for which models and years etc...

BA3 A20A 1985 - 1987 UKDM Prelude
BA4 B20A 1987 - 1991
BA5 B20A 1987 - 1991 4WS
BA8 F22B 1991
BA9 F22B 1991
BB1 H22A 1991
BB2 H23A 1992 - 1996
BB3 F20A 1992 - 1996
BB4 H22A 1991
BB5 F22B 1996
BB6 H22A 1996

just one question.... why are you part of the "BB squad" if you dont even know what it means??

anywho.... BB4 are 4th gen VTec's, BB2's are 4th gen SI/SE's, and i think the other one is a BA3?? which is a 4th gen S, IIRC ??

I know that they are 4th gen codes and the BB6 is a 5th gen that is all I know

^BB6 includes all 5th gens.....except for the JDM 4ws i think, which is BB8

how are the faqs wrong??? those are the chassis codes.....

and f20 might be a jdm / europe / canadian prelude

Man, I was all confused till I read more carefully. In the 8th position, mine is a "1". I suppose in '93 that was the asignment for the latter defunct Si VTEC model name.

I can't believe that wasn't stuck in the faqs.

^^^ For sure, the mgags thread is way more usefull than the one in the FAQs.

I made a couple threads myself that should be in the FAQs. And they haven't gotten there yet.

He will do it though, I have faith.
