Pull fans cool the best. I forgot how much better they cool, you could do a search on it if you really wanted to find out.

Sorry thats all the info I have for your topic

I normally use the flexalite push pins like you receieved. You push it straight through the core and a rubber pad and spin on plastic wing nut goes on the back to hold it on.They work great and take like 2 minutes to install.Hold the fan on where you want it push the pin through the plastic washer, fan moutning tab and straight through the core then through a rubber pad on the backside and finally into the plastic nut they give you.Done.

You could make some brackets or something if your really worried about it but those pins hold the fan tight.I put one in a 240SX i swapped with a SR20 and his car was destroyed in a brutal head on collision requiring jaws of life to remove him of which the fan never budged it was still good to go. Just hook up power and ground observing which way the air flow is going you can do this by putting the wires on a battery then mark them

Just put it on. A few fins is nothing to worry about. I use regular zip ties which crush the fins even worse and it works fine. Tighten it enough so that it doesn't move around.

Umm look at the wires. On the stock harness plug there's a black wire and another color wire. On the slim fan there's a black wire and another color wire as well. Connect the black wire to the other black wire and it'll pull. Connect the black wire to the other color wire and it'll push.
