How it was




Fresh out of paint. Every dent was taken out of the car and the stripes removed. The hard top, bumpers, and side skirts will be painted tomorrow, and the whole car will be reassembled at the beginning of next week.

the wheels on the IS300 look weak compared to all the other ones i've seen

 

They're stock wheels for the Sport Design model. I'm still on the lookout for a stock hood.

Miata is dope as hell, gonna race it?

 

heck yeah I'm going to race it. I'm still trying to find a dual-purpose suspension so that I can drive it to races and not have internal bleeding by the time I get there. I also have a 1.8 in the garage to replace the stock 1.6. It's eventually going to get a full rebuild with a stroke up to 2 liters . I'm still having debates about going FI or NA with it.
