if i have a stock d16a6 it has ~106hp at the crank right?
since its an identical motor to the sohc zc with the only diff being the cams if i put the cams in i would have the ~120hp at the crank?
now this is where it gets difficult
if i swap a vtec head on it
will i get the usual ~130hp as if i did it on my stock a6 or would i get it to ~130 with the extra ~20hp gain from the cams too. so would it be ~130 or ~150

 

how are you gonna use non vtec cams ina vtec head?

 

when u do a mini me swap u gotta swap the cams too?
cuz my stock a6 cams are non vtec

 

you are taking the head off in a ohc motor where do you think the cam is?

the cam is what is diff in those motors if you did a mini me would that matter.
