Changing Interior color
What do you guys think is the best thing to do, I have maroon door panels and a crap brown dash. I want to change it all to a gray color. What is the best way to do this. In these pictures I don't have the new door panels on yet..

The main resone for the tach. was I got it really cheap, and this way I can tell if the auto is slipping. And also I like the look. Why do they put them in a LX atuo? Because its still nice to see how you engine RPM's are doing.

Nope I got more a ridge roof that is the main resone why I put it in because the previose owner messed up the roof and it was really flimsy. And it is all about the look. Its better to look good slow then look like **** going fast. LOL

Duplicolor Vinyl works great on the softer stuff like the door panels, roof skin, sun visors, etc. You can even use it on the small patches of cloth/carpet on the doors (i think it's softer now then what it was without the paint). Just make sure you keep a good distance while painting it, or you'll get blotches of flat color (like any spray balm...)

I used Krylon Fusion for the harder pieces...but, that stuff does chip in the well used areas.
Preperation is the key to success for both of these paints...sand with a high grit sand paper, clean with alcohol. If you want to go one step further, you could even use a plastic adhesion promoter...but Krylon Fusion is made for plastic, so you don't necessarily need it.
Goodluck!
I did the same thing as clantz86 in my CRX DX. It had the pale blue interior and I used Krylon fusion for all the hard plastic interior pieces and a vinyl paint (forgot the name) for the door panels. All the plastic pieces were painted black, and the door panels are light grey and black. I will try to get some pics tomorrow.
