Default f and h tranny. need help

ive got a perfectly good f series tranny out of a 95ish accord sitting in the garage. only thing wrong with it is the bell housing is cracked. now i have heard that the internals are interchangable with h series. now my tranny (stock jdm h22) is taking a huge dump on me. sincros are almost gone in 3 and 5 and starting to go in 2 and 4. i am pulling the engine out over the winter to build it for turbo and i was wondering what is my best bet here... hybrid h/f tranny or just get a rebuild kit from honda.

help please

The gear ratios for the Accord transmission are much taller, so it'll kill your acceleration (unless you're putting on a massive turbo). If you haven't tried GM synchromesh, give it a shot. Make sure to ask for part #12377916

how reliable are the f-series trannies for turbo? are they much weaker than the h-series?

i am planning on using a m2s4 for my build but i have always toyed with the idea of an f-series, just for the gear ratios...

f/h trannies are exactly the same just different gears...in my opinion the f-tranny will last you longer with turbo due to longer gears...
