Fuel sender probably broken - plz read/respond
Following an earlier thread, I have tested my fuel gauge/sending unit. Following pages 23-98 to 23-99 in the Honda service manual for my car (1989 civic LX sedan), I have isolated the problem to the fuel sender/floater thing. It tells me my tank is "full" when it's quite close to empty. I checked the resistance, and the readings of 1/4 tank vs. full are practically the same, which is WRONG.
Can I get one cheap-cheap from a junk yard, or should I get it new from an online source?
