Default blown shocks?

alright right now my ride is amazingly stiff....i like it when im taking turns fast and what not...but i feel every bump in the road...and almost every time i drive i will hit some sort of bump, pot hole, ect.. that will cause my stereo to skip...i want to buy subs and whatnot for my car but i dont want it ruined by this stiff ride...if you can give me a name of some nice shocks that will provide more of a smooth ride i would appreciate it also a price range...and a website to buy/look at them
thanks

your shocks aren't necessarily blown. How low is your car? If lowered at all? If your car is really bouncy when you hit bumps and the such, that means your car has blown shocks - or one at least. And another thing to think about....aftermarket shocks won't necessarily make your ride any smother. Thirdly, I have a very stiff suspension setup, and i have a sub/amps. If they are installed right, I garuntee you will never have any problems with them. Especially not f'en them up.

well basically my car is not bouncy it all...it is almost like there is no shock absorber i just hit bumps and like my body flops up and down and my is lowered so there is no aftermarket shocks and spring set that will provide a more comfortable ride?

well, there are combos out there that will provide a softer ride. But the softer the ride....the worse the handling - usually. So if you don't care about beeing a race car driver around the turns, then you could probably switch it up some and get a better ride. Don't ask me what brands are the best for a soft ride though. I have ground control coil overs, with kyb agx shocks set to full stiffness. It rides like a son-of-a-bitch, but takes the turns like a champ. I like it like that though.
