I have a 1992 prelude jdm h23 with a custom turbo kit on it. ive been driving it like this for about a year. Yesterday when i started my car up it made this metal to metal noise fading in and out until it completely warmed up. Checked the oil level and its fine, does anyone have any ideas?

 

do you know where the noise is coming from or the gernal area? be more specific

 

Could be your pistons making some sweet loving with your sleeves w/o lube.. Are your h23 innards stock or sleeved/forged?

 

wow, well the noise is gone........it only happend once or twice in the same night and now i cant get it to repeat itself, my internals are stock but i only have the turbo running at 6psi. i ordered a header and im taking the turbo off, i got a vr6 project now anyway.
