Default New Side Exit Exhaust *PICS*56K ehhhh..

After watching Adseguy's video, I fell in love with his side exit exhaust. It was the first time I saw one and I loved it. So what did I do when turboed by b18b? went down to the local muffler shop and got 3in. piping with a 24" resonator. Although it is a bit on the loud side, it sounds great! I'm injoing This $135 exhaust way more then my $500 GReddy exhaust. Thanks for the idea Adseguy
just thought I'd post up a few pics

Underside

Frontside

Backside

burnt up my old stock gasket. Waiting for the new performance one to come in from NAPA

Just some pics I decided to throw in of my car

Its really not that loud just deep.I have run a 24" cherry bomb and side exit pipe just like his setup on my last two turbo setups.I like it cost me like $68 CDN to build my exhust and it flows great.I just replace the cheapo cherry bomb every season and it is good to go.

Looks like crush bent piping...

I'm sure it sounds like a diesel truck when spoolin.
One of the reasons I love it when I open my ecutout.

And my girlfriend always telling me, "You smell like boost."

Its still is pretty loud, not unbarable. cruising has a nice hum to it.Unless I'm on it then its not bad.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by NightRider-gsR &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Looks like crush bent piping...

speedbumps are going to rape that exhaust.. right infront of the passenger-rear tire.

Goddamn! Yu copied me from the exhaust to the PLX to even the boost gauge .

I scrape a littlewhen there is a steep incline or too many people are in the car, but the sound is REALLY good IMO. Very deep with no raspyness.

Here's the old setup video...I'm currently working on my new setup's video

You have to copy paste..don't try to fix this link

I miss my side exhaust. I put a racing muffler on mine, NA first big mistake. Once boosted it wasn't bad, but with no interior and the side exit, i was wearing ear plugs, so i gave up and put a muffler on. Still has a nice sound to it, no rasp, but i can drive places without needed ear plugs. Mine was 3 inch, and never scraped. Back fires rock with that setup too have fun!!!
