I purchased 2002-03 DC race headers for my 2006 RSX type S and had them installed over the weekend. i always wondered why DC sports didn't list the part as 2002+ RSX type S, because i couldn't imagine the dimensions of the manifold and exhaust to be any different. the install went smoothly and everything lined up correctly. all was well until the following morning when i warmed up my engine prior to going to work. i was admiring how good the cold air intake sounded with the race headers, when i noticed something odd about how the exhaust tip looked. after taking a closer look, it turns out that with the 02-03 race headers on, the exhaust tip didn't come out as far as normal (fell a little short). not a big deal, but the exhaust fumes goes up, right into the rear bumper. i can imagine this will cause paint deterioration or burns in the future. just a heads up to those who own 05-06 RSX type S's.
