Not quite sure where to post this guys..
basically I am in the process of selling my all motor ls/v em1 and buying an eg coupe to boost.. I will be starting from scratch...

Never built a motor for boost before so Im kinda looking as the cheapest most reliable route

Im debating on if I should buy a complete motor swap (obd1 jdm gsr) with axels, trans, ecu,shift linkage..the whole nine yards for an eg.. for around 3,500$ then im looking to buy a peakboost turbo kit..

or

gettting a cheap ls/b20 block and buying eagle rods je pistons and on stock sleeves..then looking around on h-t for a head- trans shift linkage, alternator basically I will have nothing so I will need everything...then doing a peakboost...

Im not looking for anything crazy in power.. I wanna do something reliable but powerful since I am in college and It cant break lol..

any imput will be helpful..sorry for such the newbie question..
