Hi guys hope I dont get flamed for this question. I did a search and couldnt find anything on it . I bought a 1990 Crx Dx real cheap becuase it has a blown head Gasket . I removed the head today and found someone just did a head gasket not to long ago. after I send the head out and have it checked and put a straight edge on the block to make sure everything is ok with the block deck , I will order all the stuff at work to redo the head gasket on it again. my question is my parts department says it calls for that crappy ol metal mesh gasket I was wondering can I order the steel gasket off of like a 92 civic d15 becuase I dont trust those crapola mesh gaskets at all

 

Well did alittle comparison of the 2 head gaskets at work and you can use the updated head gasket and head bolts from the old honda bulletin for the 92-95 non vtec motor installed my head today and my engine purs like a kitten
