i know, but most of those are a universal fit and look crappy if you dont mold them right.

You should understand why he said "rice" most people in Civics, Accords, and such (no offense to Civic and or Accord owners) have those gauges and try to act like they are for something else then the voltage, oil pressure or what ever else it might have.

how else do you hold your gauges??

are you looking for a complete A pillar replacement? I haven't seen any for 4th gen preludes, I've only seen the ones where you mount onto the existing A pillar.

I've seen a whole replacement pillar w/pod, but It was over a year ago, and it was about $100. Not worth it, one of my friends had it, and didn't fit well. I think they stopped making them. I found just a bolt on pillar for my car, and it fits great. I got it off ebay, paid about $12 for it. lol.

You could always put your gauges behind your stock dash with fuel & temp gauges. That's what I ended up doing because I hate those pillar pods..very rice in my opinion.

Thanks, I'm willing to bet you could use some gauges that have a dark face like Autometer Cobalts or something as long as they light up. Defi BFs are fancy, but not neccessary.

looks very clean behind the stock dash...

the gauge pod on the A pillar is cheap and functional, I don't see now it's ricer... putting in gauges that you don't need IMO is rice...

I guarantee 95% that he will not end up doing anything else but maybe going to meets, and maybe boosting it, which in that case he just needs a Boost gauge. But hey man you do what you want, it's your car and your decision

I bought the Autometer one from there. Btw I'm boosting so I thought I'd should get one but I'd rather do the glass thing that Hawkez did.

Thanks, I guess it would be better to say it's not very 'sleeper' to have them where evryone can see them. It's definately not as rice as a monster tach or gauges way over on the passenger side.

I do need an oil pressure gauge because I have ruined an engine before from oil loss. Every time I hit a rock or something I stare at the oil pressure gauge and make sure the pressure stays up. And a temp gauge is totally neccessary if you ask me.....

I guess The Oil Pressure would be useful, I sitll wouldn't get it, I always slow down on dips, and pot holes and I try to move out of the way so I wont go over them , even if the car isn't lowered I hate how it scrapes the bottom when I go over a dip fast, but the car already has a stock temp gauge.
