transmission shifts rough
Hi, i have a 1990 accord ex and i just replaced the transmission fluid with chevron automatic fluid. Has anyone else used this in there accord ?
I have used this ATF before and it was a big mistake. It shifter harder than normal and less than 1,500miles later the "S" light started blink and it didn't shift and $350 later it was fix.
SO CHANGE IT WITH HONDA ATF PLEASE and save your self a headache and money.

honda dealer or online part store.
they just recently jacked up the price around 6 dollar.
but it was nothing compare to 30 dollar per bottle VW FWAKING ATF, seriously I LOVE HONDA

Switch to Honda ATF...Get it as stated above. Honda uses friction modifiers in their fluid that eases shift engagement. You can add a friction modifier but, I would strongly reccomend HONDA ATF.
Good Luck
