Default Ducati parts?

I know of couple of people here own/owned Ducati's.

I'm in desperate need of a alternator cover for my 2000 748.

Does anyone know of any used part sites or places I can buy one for?

Any suggestions?

the entire alternator? why not just the stator? those can be repaired or there is some online "Low Cost" replacements. In addition... SHHHHHH! I hear that many japanese stators will work for Italian Motorcycles, but you didn't hear it from me

Well all I know is that they (Dealership in Nashville) said it was like $700 for a new one and I almost hit the floor. He said do you want me to order one and I like was like uhh no...

So thats where I stand. I'll check ebay tonight!

He needs the cover, not the innards.
