2006 Ex Coupe passenger door question...
Alright, I was in an accident about a month ago (no one was hurt, and it wasn't my fault, so I don't have to pay for anything). It's a 2006 Honda Civic EX
Well, the girl hit me on the passenger side, and now it's at the collision repair shop, the right side is obviously being replaced. So, I went there on Monday to check it out (they said I was able to pick it up, but eventually bring it back so they can get the new seat cover installed as they still were waiting on it to come in) - the thing is, when I went and saw my car and checked it out, the passenger door wasn't closing correctly, there was an obvious gap, you would have to close it once to notice the gap and then close it (harder) again for it to correctly close. On top of that, there were minor dents around the frame of the door and pieces were still missing. ...On top of that! There were black smudges on my car, like ink that has hardened, I was able to take some off with my thumbnail, but I noticed there was another smudge around the rear on the left side. I told them, i'm not taking this back like this, you guys need to do it correctly before I even pick this up, I don't want a faulty car to drive. I'm just not going to take the car when someone has done a half-assed job on it. I can't blame them entirely though, they said that all of the parts from Honda were air shipped to them and the packaging wasn't the best. So that could be the reason for the dents, but c'mon, don't put damaged parts on my vehicle! So they said they were going to get everything fixed and i'll just keep the rental car the woman's insurance company let me use for a while longer. The guy seemed very apologetic and wasn't really speaking highly of the tech who worked on my car.
So long story short, i'm still waiting for my car to be fixed, correctly, but my question is regarding the interior of the door. Are there differences between trim models on the passenger doors in the 06 Honda Civics? Like is the EX interior of the door different from the LX? Or are they all the same? Because I don't want an LX or DX door on my EX Civic... I used my key to lock and unlock the door, it worked, the power windows worked as well, I was just wondering if I had an actual EX door or if it even mattered?

Thanks for all the replies everyone. So pretty much there is a noticable difference in the upholstery between the different trims? Meaning, I would completely notice if I had the wrong door...? I just never really paid attention to the interior of my passenger door as I never sit on that side...
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
