hey, do you guys have problems with your rex hatch locking? i have owned 5 crx and every one of them sux when it comes to the rear hatch. On my DD i have tried to adjust it three times and it only grabs half the time. anyone have any tricks to it? thanks

I've never had that problem with my 88 crx si, but also look at the height of your rubber hatch stops, if they are too long, the hatch will not grab all of the time.

 

Does your hatch lever get stuck in the "up" position? That has happened to me before and I have to put it down before the hatch can lock.

 

I have the same problem with my 86 Si sometimes it will catch fine then at other times it will only catch if I slam it.

 

mybe the hatch pop latch beside your seat is sticky or seized? holding it open ?
