Default new to forum... new to civics!

hey my name is marc lavigne.
i recently purchased a 91 civic hatch back. bought the car for 300 bucks.. no rust. ive never delt with honda.. ever, so this is all new to me. the car has a b15 motor in it, with a 4 speed tranny. its a dual point injected motor. the only thing wrong with it, is a leaky rad, and it blows smoke.

i wanna turn it into something alittle more than what it is now... past the typical bolt ons. i have experince with cars, my major project car is my 99 impreza with a custom turbo kit in the makes.

basicly i talked with a few ppl, and there saying d16y6... like i said... im new to honda's anything to help would be great.

cheers
marc l

Well first off , welcome to the boards Marc.
You will get most of your simple questions answered by using the search option on this site. And if you dont find it there in the archives then ask away.
Its just easier that way because all the "rookie" questions have been answered so many times.
Good luck
