I'm looking into this too, one day....

But with regards to the tranny, the 2nd gen USDM Integra's lasted 90-93. And the GSR's of that era were only in 92-93. So that's what you want, also known as a 92-93 GSR YS1. Note the RS-LS-GS models from this generation also came with a tranny labeled YS1, but it is different with taller gearing more suited for forced induction.

And then of course there is a JDM YS1, which (to the best of my research) only came in the USDM 92-93 GSR gearing. But those had an optional, but very rare, factory LSD. More power to you if you can get this.

Don't forget electronics, not sure how you want to handle it, but the consensus is keep it simple and stay OBD0, treat this like a B16 swap unless you are a wiring genius. You'll probably need a B16 PR0 or PR3 ECU, chipped would be ideal to take advantage of the higher rev's and give it the added fuel for the increase in displacement. And whatever associated with this, i.e. injectors, distributor, etc.

My $0.02, hope that helps.

Get a gsr swap. He ran 13.2 with not that much of mods done to his car. He loves it. And it's cheaper then a type r motor.

I have done three B18C5 swaps on CRXs.
I own one myself.
As long as you use a cable transmission, it's the same as swaping a B16.
I have only used Hasport mounts, those are great mounts.
I have not had any problems with the radious rods, even though my car was really lowered.
I have even installed a Type R hydro tranny on a CRX, which required making a new mount for the transmission and I went as far as to convert the car to hydro
clutch. About the hood, if you use a US spec hood, you will have to remove the under hood support right over the valve cover.
I have a JDM front end convertion and the hood fits perfect, no trimming needed.

going from a B16 to a type R is like going from a D16 to a B16, with the difference of the added torque.

Good luck

thanks for the in put. the real thing i am woryed about is all the sencers like the air buy pass , crank pos sencer (but i think the b16a has that) but the buy pass i am un shour of. that is why i thought it would be easer to stay obd2 on the moder and chang the pin outs for the body of the car on the ecu. and use my crx harnes on the moder and fill in the wireing blanks ( vtech, 2dnO2 , crank pos ..etc)
thanks
