Default Bogging??

Okay i dropped my b16a into a 88 crx dx, so i had to dpfi to mpfi... now the problem being that the car idles fine as well as accelerates fine, however when I hold the gas at a constant rpm (e.g. holding it at 2000 rpms) the car seems like the fuel cuts out i guess and it drops the rpms but it catches again?? any ideas

check your grounding? Mine was jacked...acted like it was'nt getting fuel/spark to a few pistons....but it seemed to idle ok...and when you really pushed the gas, it would rev up, but if you held it at a certain rpm, it would run fine, and then you try to rev it up a lil more, it would drop before it would rasie the rpms....So, after a COMPLETE expensive tuneup, I was lost for ideas...So, I got to looking and my grounding straps, both the one from the battery to the frame/tranny and the one from the valve cover to the radiator cross member thingy where nasty and frayed. So, I replaced them, and it fixed my problem. I could'nt find replacements, so I had to make my own:

I dont know what the differences are between the grounding on my d15b2, and yours, but it might be worth looking into?

Are you running both 02 sensors? If not search for it, there are a ton of threads dealing with this issue. If you have them both look into your fuel system.

Also make sure that your O2 wires aren't crossed I had similar symptoms when I had the sensors reversed.
