VIDEO: All Motor Coupe - A couple low 13's
Some of you guys may remember my post in here back in March after I ran 13.17 @ 104.9mph in my LSVTEC '98 Civic coupe.
Well, here's a video (finally) of two passes that day.
The setup was:
B18A block (Hot-tanked, decked, painted, bore'd 0.25mm over, honed)
89mm crank (micropolished and balanced)
ACL main, rod, and thrust bearings
Stock rods w/ ARP rod bolts
P30 0.25mm OS pistons
ITR main caps (2, 3, 4)
ITR block girdle
ITR oil pump (new), water pump (new)
GSR timing belt
All new gaskets/seals
Golden Eagle 82mm LSVTEC kit
PR3 head from 2000 Civic Si (Hot-tanked, planed, painted)
Skunk2 valvesprings, retainers, cam gears
Skunk2 Pro2+ cams
No port/polish
All new seals
ACT HD/SS
ACT StreetLite flywheel
S4C transmission
DriveShaftShop Stage 1 axles
AEBS intake manifold
Password:JDM intake manifold gasket
AEM fuel rail (not that it really does anything...)
RC 370cc injectors
65mm JG/Edelbrock throttlebody
AEM cold-air intake
DC Sports JDM 4-1 header (2.5" collector w/ skidplate welded onto bottom)
MSD SCI
NGK Iridium plugs
Test pipe
DC Sports 2.25" catback
Tuned with Crome by 93turbo16 ( http://www.j-k-tuning.com ) to 185whp/129wtq
Since then, I've added an RMF narrow header, SMSP 2.5" exhaust, and AEM 3" CAI. That resulted in 195whp/131wtq.
I hope to go back to Cecil County Dragway on October 28th, and try for a 12-second pass.
So, without further ado, the video:

1.95 sixty-foot, and no, the car is not gutted at all.
This run was made with full exhaust, no rear seats, and no subwoofers.
The only weight reduction done to the body of the car was removed bumper supports and carbon fiber hood.
And as far as the trap speed vs. dyno numbers... Let's just say the dyno I use reads a little lower than the Honda-Tech standard dyno.
