Default E S motor mount inserts

anyone got any expirence with these? I just installed mine and it feels nice and tight, but now the car feels like a giant vibrator. Everything rattles now.

For now, i just did the front and rear mounts, but i i dont know if i should take them out , or keep them in and buy another kit for the other 2 mounts.

So i guess my question would be, is there any long term effects on using these? Like excessive wear on other parts or anything? It vibrates alot and just want to know what to expect. good or bad...

thank

mike

At least yours fit your mounts... mine didn't work! However, I wouldn't worry too much about that vibration. My brother has redshift racing mounts and the whole damn car shakes! It's just a price to pay with stiff mounts.

Sometimes bolts, screws and other adjustments rattle or shake out. Keep an eye on things. It will soften up a little bit eventually.

Just keep on top of loose pieces. Different parts of the car will vibrate at different engine RPM's. I have HASPORT mounts and I've gotten rid of all vibrations inside the cabin. But more will come, you get used to it eventually. Do you run stiff suspension? that'll make things even worse. later, Overkll
BTW, watch the IACV valve. Mine starting acting up after I polly'ed my original mounts. If you have ANY engine problems, look for parts that can vibrate loose first. My distributor even backed out once on me due to vibrations.
