Default Exhaust leak from header...need help

Last night i installed the Jdm ITR header onto my b16b and now have a leak where the header bolts up to the engine...I replaced the gasket torgued to specs but still no go...any ideas how to get the leak to stop? would some sort of high temp gasket sealer work? Please help i hate having a car that sounds like a beefed up lawn mower. I know this isnt really N/A discussion but could really use some help.

i doubt its your head thats warped there, so i would bring the header to a machine shop and have them machine the flange flush.....just dont take off too much

Man...you really think the problem could be that drastic. I hope not...so a high temp gasket sealer wont work for this?

is it a real jdm honda part, or is it real jdm ebay part. they tend to have warped flanges.

check the rivets in the gasket... i had a problem like that n cut out all the rivets in the gasket n it seemed to work fine for me.... don't forget to use high temp gasket sealant....

the rivets arent even on the part that seals.....

you can try using high temp sealant but thats always temporary, machining it would fix it for good....

i still fail to realize how this was placed in the all-motor forum....what does this have to do with all motor other than the fact that you dont have a turbo??
