Identify These Cams......
Ok my buddy picked up a set of cams the otherday. But he doesnt know what kind of cams they are. They were free. They are definitly aftermarket though. Both are marked with a M in the middle. But one of them has a 2 in the same spot as the M but on the other side. What kind of cams could these be????

i also have a set of these that i got with a cylinder head and the kid i bought the head from didnt know what they were. he thought maybe skunk 2 stage 1's, but didnt know for sure.
they have the "M" and "2" markings on them also just like the ones pictured above. i called skunk2 and the lady didnt think they were skunk camshafts. she said theirs have H01 markings on them. but i got the feeling she really didnt know much about what i was asking.
i just quickly checked the lift of them with a verinier and i got .446" and .427" figuring a 1.55 rocker ratio. mine also have two grooves on the end of each cam.

they *look* bigger than stock, not OEM for sure and not Skunk2's if they aren't marked on the end.

I think they're skunk2 cams. Use to have some like that. With same markings m/s. I'm pretty sure they're the oldskool skunk stage 1s. They didn't have any markings on the ends of the old ones.
