NEX Coilover system??
Its made by Golden Apple, therefore its probably crap.
Save your pennies and get a halfway decent set up - Neuspeed, Koni, Progress, all good quality but not as $$ as some. I got my Progress ones for under $900 new. I love them.

blahblahblah, "if its not jdm dont buy it" bullshit is really starting to get old. I got a friend with this set-up on an EG and they havent had problems yet(going on a year). And we live in chicago with some of the most shitty roads and weather you'll ever see... the car feels just like a set of GC's or Skunk2's with kyb or koni shocks. Yeah if you have the money get something else. Skunk2/kyb's you can get for the same price or even cheaper if you find them used. I wouldnt buy any shocks used.
And i think Koni and KYB has some new systems for sale. If you not in a hurry the apexi N1 coil-overs are pretty decent(only like 2-300dollars more than the NEX system. The choice is always up to you, my advice would be to try and look at all you choices in person and see if they fit your standards as far as quaility goes. then just decide fron there.

A friend of mines as hte NEX street suspension setup. Id say theyre pretty decent, ride quality is a bit poor and the handling characteristics are just decent. Overall, Id wouldnt buy a set.
GONG SHOW: Who the **** said anything about JDM? Not me. Just like I wouldn't put any performance part by APC or Tenzo or some other crap brand, I won't put ***** coilovers on. Screw that. All the brands I listed at least have a good reputation, rather than F&F hype.
B_Cruz: I got mine from a hook up I had, but the shop is out of business now. I dithered between Progress and Neuspeed forever, but found the best price on Progress. If I remember right, the dude was on groupbuycenter under Showngomotorsports. The parts were sent to me via Island Motorsports, so I guess he got a hook up from them. Try their prices.....they're probably reasonable. What a tangled web we weave.....

I have the NEX coilover system on my car now and it rides like a porche.
Adjustable coilovers/ fully threaded. No bounce, (like many lowered cars).
They look pretty nice at night if anyone is behind you, you can see them from under the car and through your rims if you have some.
I will not be parting with my NEX kit.
Just cause it isn't JDM doesn't make it a sin to have it.
Just my $ .02

GONG SHOW: Ok, point taken. Sorry for sounding off. Just seemed like you were directly responding to my post. However, IMO (which seems to be like yours) I'd recommend going with something a little more proven than the latest jump-on-the-bandwagon brand, which NEX seems to be (maybe).
