Its the rate.... and the time... AND that you put all that money down
You do realize your financing fog lights and lips from honda
all that is added in to your monthly payments
you were better off buying the car stock and taking the 2k u put down to buy the parts outright rather than pay
Whatever $ for the lip kit + install + 10% interest etc

So after the loan mature, you would have spend $34,848.00 + $2,000 (Down Payment) = $ 36,848.00 for a Civic ????
For that price, I can get an EVO IX from South Coast Mitsu.
Here are the Prices:

WOW. Worst financial decsion ever made</TD></TR></TABLE>
Whether one can write a check for the full amount, or money down, then finance or lease for 12, 24, 36, 39, 42, 48, or 60 months; or like WILD_WILL, financed for 72 months, everyone's situation is different. So what may be viewed as negative and not good for you, is not necessarily a bad option for another. Everyone has different circumstances that quantifies their decision-making process. Instead of a negative, I view this as a positive. If he pays his monthly dues on time (no late payments), or even if he decides to sell it before the loan is paid off (then pay whatever remaining balance is owed to the financial institution, family member, friend, etc.), at his young age, he is on the right path to establishing himself and his credit worthiness to future creditors. This is also a significant means to raise his credit score. Next time around, his term will be shorter and interest rate at a much lower rate.
There are many young guys/gals here who are still in school, and/or working a full time job to make ends meet. The fact they took on and accepted the responsibility to pay for a new car loan is admirable. If you think $464 for 72 months is long, wait until you have a $6,000/month 5, 7, 10 ARM, or 30-year mortgage. Congrats on your new ride WILL...

Thanks for all the positive and negative feedback SennaPerfected you nailed it with your post that explains how i feel about the purchase. I dont know why people think this is a bad thing i now have a sick si loaded yea i could have bought the kit elsewhere but i chose not too i wanted it to have the factory warrenty. I had no choice with the fog's they already put them on the car plus from what i was told by alot of dealer's honda dosent offer any lower then 7.5 even with insane credit. I didnt want to go through a credit union i dont have that kind of time i needed my car now plus i chose 72 month's so my payments would be lower for now and like i said the car will be payed off in less then half of the loan term. I will not pay close to what the interest look's like right now so take it how you want too.
True.. That's exactly what happened, a lot of ppl told me, WTF you paid 25K for a Civic bla bla, and they don't know **** about our little cars... Just do what makes you good
My answer to my friends was: At least I don't drive a Ford. lol

Congrats on the car, I don't care about your financial situation so I won't explain the obvious about the bad deal you got, but here is a bit of advice next time you buy a car.
Think about the total amount you pay for a car. Simply lowering the monthly payments by adding on months only increases the total amount you pay for the car in the end, even though the monthly payments are actually decreasing. The total amount you pay for the car is the only thing that matters, if you have to add months to make your monthly payments, chances are you cant afford the car.
Anyway, good luck and enjoy, you will certainly pay for it.

But don't u think buying a car with 10% interest , out of the door is 26,000 is a bit too much ?? i mean common for a civic ??? i guess he has the financial flowing, and even that, noone should be that ridiculous for a lowest rank car of Honda, could have gotten an S2k. That's just my .02c
wow no 1 reads the car came out to that after adding all that stuff i posted 1500 for hfp body kit, 500 for fog's, $2000 in tax, 1295 for low jack early warning, base price $22,500 whats so hard to understand plus just tonight i got my interest rate lowerd to a 6.5% for 64 months.
