PS - I'm not going to slam it for the sole purpose of looking good - this car is by no means a "hard-parked" vehicle
- oh yeah, the wheels are real deal SSR Type C's...no caps/stickers because I dont want the attention...
pic of car two years ago to show that at one point I cared more about looks than function

its already lowered with performance in mind
some people value practicality and drivability over looks. Trust me, I've had my car lowered 3" at one point. Its just not worth it.

I feel you on that man...scrappin the bottom paint chippin or cracking off urethane lips/sides....I spent a lot on respraying parts. It's cool if you want to drop it if your in the show scene but for everyday driving like you said it's not worth it.

yes, I liked them better from an aesthetic stand point as well. they were my dream wheels since high school.
but theres a downside...with a 205/40/17 ES100, the wheel tire combo weighed 42 pounds!!!
the current wheel tire combo weighs.....27 lbs!!!

I did the same with my car. I thought it was too low so I bought type-r suspension and I am in love.

its too soft for some people, but I love it too. the fact that its factory is a big plus as well, not to mention that I already had ITR sway bars front and rear.

yeah i know it would look better...but i'd rather have the rims in my possession than have some JDM junky see "SSR" and go "hey lets steal his wheels". trust me.
