Dust Pollen Filter - 2005 Civic
Behind the glovebox
To remove, there will be two stoppers on either side of the glovebox on the top. Pinch the tabs and wiggle them free, and the glovebox should flip all the way down to the floor. There will be a door behind there, take that off and remove the first pollen filter. There is another one on the right of the first one, slide that one to the left and remove as well. Remove plastic cage supports from the filters, and put new ones in, making sure to note the airflow arrow on the old and new filters. Re-assemble and you've got some fresh clean air for a while now
When I changed mine, it seemed like it was blowing twice as much air as before. I could see why as well when I removed them, because there was so many pine needles, lint, dust, and just plain dirt in there it was crazy.
