trying to fit an aftermarket wheel guys and ive already been sent TWO brand-new HKB steering hubs from an HT vendor, and NEITHER fit unfortunately
i might have been sent a hub for an EK because the spline on my steering column was smaller in diameter than the two sent to me, and the teeth dont match-up. i dont want to waste anymore time and money shipping them back/forth and him sending me another to try, so PLEASE, if anyone has a **stock or model number** that they know for sure fits my R, please let me know. i searched in archives, i found a few sold for a dc2, but i couldnt get any part numbers.
also note that i am particularly choosing to go with the HKB with the "srs" version that allows me to keep my complete steering harness intact. HKB is the only maker that i am aware of that offers this provision as i switch from my stock to momo wheel to and fro constantly and i get to avoid the hassle of removing and reinstalling the srs/steering harness each time.
so once again to you jdm fanatics who can help a fellow member out, please either list of PM me any info or better yet, part no. you might have to help me. thanks

there are 3 versions. (taken off the hkb japanese website then somewhat translated) sorry if this leads to more confusion.. lol
(nothing for 94+ integras)
96-01 integras #HKB-OH206
98-01 integras #HKB-OH207
i havent found out what year 215 is for? i assume its for 98+ and just the shafts are different?
206
207
215
all with airbags. it seems the shaft was changed at some point. so not sure if its a usdm or a japanese difference in shaft size.
Air back vehicle It is 2 type 有 because of variation. OH-215/OH-207
two sorts, OH-206 and OH-215, exist by pure variation. A difference is the thickness of a shaft. OH-206 is thicker than OH-215.

okay, for those that care, i just want to go on the record and save this info for archives and maybe help someone avoid the time and headaches i went thru to finally find the correct hub.
for the dc2R, well i guess for all 94-01 integras, you NEED the OH-215 model *if you want to buy the hub that allows you to keep your steering harness intact when using an aftermarket steering wheel*. however do not confuse this with the other model hub offered by HKB which like the momo and others out there that does NOT allow you to retain the srs/steering harness. HKB produces both an srs and a non-srs aftermarket wheel hub version, but the OH-215 is for those like me looking to retain their steering column harness/reel. it is a wonderful plug and play affair and has to be the best idea ever. it certainly saves the time and headache of pulling and putting back that harness for whatever reason. convenience is bliss.
i should also go on record to say that i am GLAD i purchased my hub from BEN AT IMPORTPARTS.COM. he stayed with me and was patient thru the whole return and exchange process until the third hub he sent worked which turned out to be the 215. couldnt have asked for better and more honest customer service. apparently the catalogue listing for the HKB showed numerous model #s that listed the dc2. it was a task to determine and we basically make educated guesses, so it was a learning process for both me and ben. jackie(CxShoe) was also a big help as noted above in the previous posts. nobody before me had ordered it from them ever, so anyone after me will be fine.
HKB OH-215 and importparts.com FTW!

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I just wanted to confirm that OH-215 IS the right part for EG & DC chassis with air-bags. I just installed one in my EG yesterday and it fit perfectly.
The best part for me was that it was possible to install the hub upside down to compensate for the Integra steering column I installed in my EG (to add tilt & replace a failing bearing). Apparently the Integra column's splines at the U-joint are clocked half a tooth off from the EG column making it impossible to perfectly center the OEM steering wheel. Since the steering column has an odd number of splines, installing the hub upside down perfectly re-centered everything! I figured this info might come in hand if anyone ever ends up with an EG column in their DC by mistake.
Thanks for this old thread!
