Default DOHC ZC 1.6 question

Alright, I've decided to have my head gasket replaced, so my question is, which manual do I need to get for this engine? I have the Honda Chilton's manual for my car, but not quite sure if it will be helpful with this engine, or if I need to get a specific book.

Thanks

I use two manuals: the Chilton's for an 86-89 Integra and the UK Haynes manual for the Rover 216-416 (Had the D16A9, which is the UKDM ZC motor, exactly the same as the JDM one). The Acura one can be sourced through any local auto parts store, visit the HAynes website for the Rover manual (Or check this forum's FAQ, there's a link to it ) . Hope that helps. Also, you can find all the info you need on the ZC at http://www.thezcr.com

Thanks wiZCo, I just need to change the head gasket, so hopefully the 86-89 integra book will be all I need (as I need to get this rather quickly).

Also, while I'm asking about it, how hard is it to remove a cross threaded spark plug? When I got the engine 3 years ago, I never checked to see if the plugs were in (or cross threaded for that matter) until I had driven the car for about a week. I was told to use a Heli coil and to retap the threads... just wondering if this whole deal is worth doing, or to just try and find a new head for the ZC.

If I do end up getting a new/used head, is there any other heads that will bolt onto the ZC block? Just curious so I can see what my options are.

Thanks again everyone
