is there anyone that is running a sohc zc and knows their hp all i know is that i can out run a d16y8 eg hatch cx with my sohc zc 90 crx hf

vtec is overrated in single cam form. zc sohc is the **** i have one also best sohc in my book.

Well stock it is rated at 125ish.... Do you have non-vtec or vtec?

 

SOHC ZC = 120hp
D16Z6/Y8 = 125hp

Your car is lighter than his so you have a better power to weight ratio.

 

SOHC ZC VTEC =125ish!

Who makes more torque? I hope it's the ZC.

 

i think the zc is like 100 or 108 and the z6 is like 109 or 111

 

also your car is the HF which is the lightest honda worth building asthetics wise

He wants to know how his ZC stacks up against a D16 with VTEC. Odds are stongly in favor of him having a non-VTEC ZC with 120hp.

That, I don't know. I would venture to say that the ZC will make in the 106ft.lbs. range like pretty much every other D16...because that's really all a ZC is.

sohc jdm d15b vtec

do they both have the 45mm rod journals is my real question
or is the zc a 1.6L...?

how abt a sohc zc with a vtec head like i'm running in my eg hatch.....

 

Mad tight D16A6 torque y0! (which is the equivalent of mad tight SOHC ZC torque)

 

I took out my friends (CX with CX tranny) D16 Vtec with my JDM D15 (HF with HF tranny ). But I didn't have the Vtec hooked on.

 

anyone have or know of a jdm d15b vtec block 4 sale...?
i'm desperate !

 

so the y8 is the best slightly beating the z6
then la-quiet says d15b wins with 128 hp.
so is that the best one? what about tourque?

is there anything else to take into consideration?
