I searched for this all i could find was long blocks for sell. If i were to buy a k24a4 longblack for 1000 dollars how much money would it cost to get it swaped in my car. What all would i need to buy. And also what are the specs on a stock built k24a4
You'll need a transmission that fits your car, like an EP3 or DC5 transmission. Then you'll need the axles from an EP3 (unless you're doing a 5-bolt swap). You'll also need Hasport mounts and probably would be best to go with a K-pro. I'm fairly certain you'll need more, but I'm drawing a blank right now. I apologize.
You'll need subframe, mounts, tranny, head, shifter cables. Check out the full parts list here:

some do, some dont.
most junkyards or dealers sell the longblocks because that's all they replace - they part them out because they can make more money that way (selling alternator, etc), dealers when they find an engine to be faulty or just needs to be replaced use the accessories from the old engine which are still good and transfer them over to the new engine. but sometimes you can find a complete engine w/tranny(not that it does you much good), wiring harness, etc.
best luck if you want a full swap is to go to a junk yard and tell them you're interested in a full complete swap, and they'll hold one for you when they get one.
its probably better to just get the longblock because there's things you wont need...tranny, wiring harness (i think people use k20a2's harness), etc.
