I just purchased some older style BBS RA mesh wheels. I had an idea but wasn't sure if they'd fit perfectly...they don't.
So, can anyone tell me what the diameter is on a stock 92 civic hub so I can order some rings?
EDIT: got it.
still need to know diameter of bore on wheels though, so if anyone knows, please post. (can't find it on the wheel)

Just measure it with a ruler or tape measure. It's the diameter of the big hole in the center of the wheel, and it's probably a whole number (in millimeters), no fraction or decimal point.

but the thing is...i can't be wrong, or else the rings won't fit. i'll see about getting a micrometer.
i woud like it to be precise.

just go to a wheel shop and start trying stuff on..i think if they came oem on a vdub then get like 57.1??.....if they are aftermarket then i am guessin 60mm cuz most aftermarket rims have either 73 or 60mm bores.

wow, you rock. ill get those tonight after work. i believe these wheels came off bmw 2002's.
another problem i ran into....the offset is 25. i would not have purchased them had i known that, but the only ra's i have seen in this size have a 35mm offset. doable, considering stock honda's have anywhere from 42-45.
is there anyway to "shave" some of the hub off to get a higher offset? will machine shops do this?

thanks for checking it out. seriously. that is very cool of you...
well, i need the wheels not to stick out so far, so a spacer would make it stick out even farther...which would be worse.

got a hold of them and they could not figure it out with the numbers you had supplied theu said it could only be either a 74.1 or a 72.56 hub bore...they said if you use a mm ruler you could tell which one you needed...they also said they could only shave off 5mm the wheel....which is not enough...sorry
