Just picked up my Black 2000 ITR. Im very happy with it so far except the fact the previous owner put a oil gauge in the drivers side air vent, just sitting there. I was wondering if any one made a vent cover with a gauge holder in it, as i do not want to out it on the pillar. If no one makes something similar, i will probly end up fabbing one up . Any help would be appreciated. Glad to have finally joined the ITR community. here is a bad pic of the car(camera phone since my digi cam jsut crapped out on me). Notice no ITR lip on it right now. More pics to come soon.

Hey! Welcome to the ITR community
Make sure to use the search function as much as possible ... lots of topics have been covered already.
For your question, I don't think there is a vent cover for sale that can hold a gauge. What you can do is try to find the original vent cover to bring it back to stock, and re-locate the gauge to where the cruise control button (or lack of cruise control, opposite side of the steering wheel than the dash light dimmer)is. You just need to pop off the round cover, grab a dremmel or exacto blade to take off some of the excess material, and snugly fit the gauge inside. Looks like it was meant to be there ... nice and clean.

It's all good, he was just messing with ya
You'll notice there is a rivalry among the colors here, NHB/FBP vs PY vs CW. It's all in good fun
