Default '97 Civic Ex vs '94 Del Sol S: B16A3

I have a running civic and a del sol, sitting chassis. I also have a B16A3 that i pulled out of my wrecked '97 Del Sol VTEC. Which car should I put the engine into? Having both is most likely out of the question. OPINIONS AND ADVICE NEEDED!

also does anyone know where I can get mounts for the swap besides hasport.com. Thankx

Do you want to have more than 1 passenger in the car ever?

I like the looks of the Civic better. Other than that, it's your call.

i think thats the best idea... then you can either pocket the money or dump it into your civic...

or you could sell the swap and the shell (del sol) and turbo your single cam, just another option...

as far as mounts go, for the civic any way, you can use the upper two by the wheels, and you just need a rear tranny mount... i think... someone will know for sure... maybe just put in some insersts

Definately need the cash man, ima broke *** college student, that's why im tryin to find mounts that would work for this swap in the civic that are inexpensive. I dunno Im pretty sure the orginal mounts from the B16 won't work for the swap, it also needs a tranny mount(prollie someone jacked that ****), it looks like the rear bracket won't even fit.
What's a ballpark figure do you think i could get with the nonrunning del sol with the D16y8 in it. I believe the body has about 110K miles on it. I replaced the whole interior with the 97 del sol, so pretty much there's no gray panels anymore, the body could use a touch up.

tell me about it, it took me 1 and half to find the 97 del sol DOHC VTEC. Got it off an old guy that babied it (I thought it was the greatest car ever and it was stock). I had some big plans for that car too.

go with the del sol man. civics are LAME and are a dime a dozen. the del sol is the cool civic, and if it matters at all to you, the ladies LOVE the sols. hell, if they didn't come out with a del sol, maybe i'd have an mr2 turbo or something instead. i just wouldn't be caught dead driving around in a hooked up civic, i really don't care how fast it is. they took a lame car like a civic and made it cool with the del sol. just remember that.

the del sol S is pretty light. It will be a heck of a lot faster than in the heavy coupe.

1. Swap the Sol....2. sell the coupe, 3. boost the sol.
