Default 91 Toyota MR2 Turbo (CT)

1991 Toyota MR2 with 160k miles. T-Tops, Leather Interior, Autometer Turbo and Oil Pressure gauges, TOK Dual Catback Exhaust system ($850 item), Brand new Exedy stage 1 clutch, HKS Intake, Greddy Profec B Electronic Turbo Timer, HKS Shocks with Eibach Springs, HKS Turbo Timer, Tom's Intake Scoop, Alpine 9805 Head unit, Includes stock wheels with new tires, Brakes are new. Coolant flush, Oil change and filter and spark plugs at 158k miles. Brand new starter. The car runs beautifally and gets tons of looks. It needs an ecu. A used ecu shouldn't cost more than $100. I'v had the car for a couple months and have garaged it the whole time and take very good care of it. It runs beautifally and Is ready for another 160k or more miles. Never smoked in and have TRD racing seats for an extra amount of money. There is a picture of the rust on the passenger side that needs to be cut out and replaced or covered with a side skirt and then there is a minor surface area of rust over the passenger wheel well as well and that can be sanded down and painted. I would like this car to go to a nice home because I have put alot of hard work and and money into it and it truley shows. I am asking $4,300 and will entertain trades.

Email me for any questions you might have or call me at 860-212-2161

Thanks, Pat

My engine grounded out after doing a clutch job on it because I forgot to attach the ground to the tranny after. The engine tried grounding through my throttle cable which smoked up and through my ecu which it ended up frying. I would replace it but it is very hard to find a 91-92 usdm turbo ecu without ordering or bidding on ebay and i dont have the time for that right now.

Trust me bro I wish I had an ecu aswell I need to sell this car soon in order to get my new project (Mercury Capri XR2 Turbo) into the garage before winter or before my neighbors have it towed but unfortunatly the mr2 is the better car and keeps the garage until it sells. If anybody interested can source and ecu I will buy it off you for what you paid and then we can get the mister started and go from there.
