Hello,
I have an 89 honda civic, Some times it will not start. I thought it was the fuel pump/filter because it doesnt always kick on when the key is turned to the on position, but I replaced the fuel pump and it still does it sometimes. Is there anything computer or electrical wise that anyone knows of that it could be?... anything that maybe tells the fuel pump to kick on?... The ground and the positive seemed to be fine to me. Has anyone else had this issue before?

Main relay

Normally located on the drivers side up underneat the dash on the side (behind the little coin holder thingy)

The only thing with that is I hear all of the clicks that it talks about.

 

just locate main relay,

 

I had this exact same problem on my civ and i replaced the main relay and my fuel system worked fine. try it.
