Default CEL Help

The car is a 1992 Civic Hatchback with a JDM D15B and PO8 ECU. My check engine light came on when I was at work today and stayed on. It drove fine for about 5 minutes then at a stop it bogged out and shut off. When I drove it home I couldn't shift past 3k and it was driving really slow. I am throwing a cylinder position sensor and IACV codes. I'm assuming that I now need a new dizzy and need to clean or get a new IACV. I want to confirm this with others before I make any moves. This is my daily driver and I need to have it back to normal as soon as possible. What is the worst that can happen if I continue on to drive with this for say about a week? I will try to catch rides as often as possible to avoid driving it. Your input is much appreciated. TIA

clean the IACV and see if that helps. it could be that it went bad.

i *THINK* the cylinder position sensor is somewhere in or around the distributor, but someone else will have to chime in to help you with that

try resetting the ecu first and see if it clears up. otherwise clean the iac then reset it again

Ok here's the deal, I replaced the dizzy and I no longer have a check engine light. Now I start the car, and it still drives like ****, but now I can rev past 3k. It takes forever to get up to speed, bogs out really bad, my rpms drop below 500 and it stalls out sitting still. I tried checking for codes but my cel just stayed on and didn't flash, what does this mean? I tried changing ECU's and it did the same thing? Does anyone know what the problem would be?
