Default CEL 43

Yeah, so occasionally and COMPLETELY randomly I'm throwing a 43 CEL. I'm just trying to figure out what it means.

Here's the other story I wrote in my sig that's been there awhile but only one person answered it....and it was while he was flaming me.
That's this:
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Syndacate's Signature &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Occasionally I throw a code 43 (fuel supply system) - but the car's always started on 2nd crank (fuel pump's fine), injectors were just changed (to what I'm not sure, nobody seems to be able to answer that, but they may or maynot be stock...either way they're equal to or over the 240cc stock size), my friend claims he changed the fuel filter though I don't even know where it is on a civic..but I believe him. Anybody know what else I can look at?</TD></TR></TABLE> Okay...on with the post..

BTW: 43 = Fuel Supply System

Here's what I know:
- there's no breakup that would indicate a clogged injector or blockage at ANY time
- there's NO hesitation when it starts (always starts on 2nd turn)
- (I don't know this) but my friend told me he changed the fuel filter.

Think that's all I KNOW. At some point I suppose I'll change the fuel flter, but I don't know where it is. I know there's one attached to the fuel pump...so if I go to change the fuel filter, I have to pull the seat, and pull the cover, and pull the pump, just to change the filter? No I don't think so, I'm assuming there's a second filter someplace else in the fuel path.

Anybody have any suggestions/reasons as to what it could be.

BTW: Car's a '95 EX with 99k

I don't think it's a bad FPR or bad fuel rail or bad injector because there's never a breakup of any kind what-so-ever.

I'm going to change the fuel filter when I have some time and find out where it is on the engine, asside from that, anybody have any other advice?

Oh, I always run 89 octane, no aftermarket parts, just short ram CAI/K&N filter & a N1 catback.
