Has anyone tried running these on a Civic?

They list as LIGHT and are available in 14 inch (to suit my slicks)

 

They will NOT fit..
the center bore is too small

 

Can this be bored out? Miata rims are a lot more accessable than exotic stuff in my neck of the woods.

 

Yeah bore them to the appropriate bore (58mm??) and slap em on. Excellent lightweight 14s for Hondas, IMO. The early Panasport look-alikes are 14x5.5, the later straight spokes are 14x6.

I think the 5.5's are heavier than the 6's but I'm going to a wrecker tommorrow with my kitchen scales to find out.

 

why bother.. just get different rims..

 

any good machine shop can bore them out, under $40 too I bet. see if you have any hookups as it is an easy thing to do on a vertical mill.

let us know what you find out and how much you spend on the wheels at the yard!
