so my maintainence light came on....so me jus wanna know wat do ya chek up on ur car when the lights shows up....wat kind of maintainence ya do?........

 

do you have the manual there is a maintenance guide in there according to mileage/months I would just follow that.

as far as getting the light off there is a button up underneath the dash on the right hand side of the steering wheel just push it in.

 

dang i dont have the manual guide book.......but wats the main thing you mainteince on....new spark plugs, oil change, etc etc ....yea i know wheres the button at.....

You can buy a new owner's manual here, or a used one on eBay. If you want to do the work yourself, you will need to get a service manual, which you can get from the same place. Both manuals show the recommended maintenance schedule.

 

buy a diagnostic reader, they are about 100 bucks and let you know what that little light means. but mostly it comes on for routine maintenence, such as oil change, spark plugs, etc...

WTF? Don't waste your money. The "maintenance required light" comes on ~7500 miles since the previous time it was reset.

But if you work on your own car, the &lt;100 bucks the service manual costs will be money well spent.
