heh heh...I got the cheap *** flex hose from Auto-Zone. Its better than the alum. short ram air intake as it was interfering with the battery. Keeps the motor cooler and a lil better at take off, IMO...anyway thanks brotha.

What kind of filter are you using? How'd you come up with the idea?

Since I don't have the cash to put in an AEM CAI I just went with this It produces cold air and since the tubing is plastic it won't conduct heat either...I've seen this used on older Hot Rods so why can't I... I have a Matrix Dual Cone airfilter. I just shoved enough of the flex hose into the hole where the restrictive stock air container was(which has to be removed altogether to allow the filter to be mated with the tubing) behind the bumper and connected the other end of it to the Intake Mani. It won't get wet either as its far enough off the ground and its contained inside the area with the inner spash guards.

I wonder what kind of horsepower you're getting. You should dyno that and then a AEM cold air.

Those are what was once called A-Tech, Final Speed Eraser...Now owned by MB Motoring and are now called Weapons....
I like the latter name....

wrapped in Hankook K106 - I don't recommend these....I prefer Toyo Proxes.
