ok here the problem i have been told by some people that i could and some that i couldnt. My ac compressor locked up and i do not have the 400 dollars for another one so i was just goin to by pass it with a smaller belt but a guy at the parts house told me that it would not work on my engine i have a 2.2 non vtec so if u would plz plz help me

 

I'm kinda in the same boat, my compressor isn't locked up but man it squeals like a stuck pig. I know on my old h23 I had a belt that bypassed the a/c but then I got my h22 swapped they put a normal belt on.
