When cold, my '94 integra RS CHUGS its way up to fast idle(1800rpm) and then slowly drops as it should. After about 5 mins of driving (before it gets fully warmed up), it will start cutting out and bogging until the CEL comes on and then it goes away. I've replaced the fuel filter in the past 3k miles to try and fix it, but i dont know where to go from there. Any ideas and testing prcedures? I cant seem to find any post with the same symptoms.

I think the problem goes away when the CEL light comes on, because the ecu is switching to a default program or something. I dont have this problem every morning, if that means anything?

 

fuel pump relay?
injectors?

check the fuel line make sure there is no air getting into it.

 

Well, are the things you listed capable of occasional malfunctions? I mean, my CEL hasnt came on in over a month, and its only done the cut out and bog thing once this week, but went away without a CEL showing up. I have a messed up idle that wasnt fixed by cleaning the fit and iac valves, if that has anything to do with this...all these problems are driving me nuts!
